2013 DBA Tournament

The 9th annual "Wars of Washington, DC" DBA tournament was held on Saturday, 28 Sept. 2013 (1:00-5:30 p.m.) in conjunction with WADBAG's Game Day, hosted by David Kuijt in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  Our 2013 champion was David Kuijt.  Rob Torres and Sean Donnelly tied for Runner-Up honors.  The "Butcher" award for maximum mayhem was a three way tie, with David Kuijt, Rob Torres and Sean Donnelly each generating 23 elements killed or lost.  Young Otto Schlanger (son of past DBV Champion David S.) proved himself a chip off the old block by taking Best First Time DBV/Juniors honors.  George Deutch showed extreme fortitude...taking the headlong jump into tournament gaming as his first exposure to ancients gaming and DBA.   More highlights here.
